Job Title: Electrical Quality InspectorJob DescriptionOur client is looking for a Electrical Quality Inspector for a significant project in Saskatchewan. You will play a crucial role in inspecting and testing activities related to the construction of electrical and instrumentation systems. This position involves electrical inspections, understanding quality programs, overseeing testing procedures, conducting walk-downs, and evaluating completed systems. The role is based on-site with a rotation schedule.Responsibilities
  • Conduct electrical inspections and testing for construction projects.
  • Understand and apply quality programs including Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and installation procedures.
  • Oversee meggering (insulation resistance testing) and point-to-point testing.
  • Perform system walk-downs and punch-list completed systems.
  • Ensure adherence to the CSA Electrical Code and project specifications.
Essential Skills
  • At least 1 year of experience in electrical quality inspection.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
  • 5 years of experience working with heavy industrial environments (600V+ systems).
  • Working knowledge of the CSA Electrical Code.
  • Proficiency with electrical ITPs and installation procedures.
  • Experience with meggering and point-to-point testing.
  • Familiarity with motor control centers, variable frequency drives, and PLC-controlled systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience using Hexagon Smart Completions.
  • Experience with Bluebeam for redlining drawings.
Work EnvironmentThe position is site-based at with a 14/7 rotation schedule, involving 10-hour shifts, with camp lodging provided. Employees will fly into Saskatoon and take bus transport to the site. Flights are provided from AB, BC, MB, or ON. The work setting is a heavy industrial construction environment.
