- Take note of the activities of the previous shift, check if the deliveries went well and make the necessary corrections.
- Receive, process and process customer order data.
- Respond to urgent requests and suggest solutions.
- Follow up on automatic deliveries and plan the next deliveries.
- Consult inventories and decide whether a product delivery should be made.
- Provide and plan the resources necessary for a smooth running of operations.
- Ensure that drivers have the required number of hours to complete their workday.
- Assign the work of drivers fairly and equitably while optimizing the use of trucks.
- Prepare for trips and ensure that the necessary documents (maps, keys, plans, charters, etc.) are given to the drivers.
- Supervise the work of staff on the road and maintain excellent working relationships.
- Work in collaboration with the mechanical department and provide support to the drivers so they can work efficiently and safely.
- Respond to unplanned events and take the necessary measures to guarantee the continuity of operations.
- Perform administrative work such as recording and daily updating of data in the system, verification of documents upon return of drivers, preparation of invoices as well as analysis of reports.
- Participate in the company's continuing training activities and in the health and safety meetings.
- Excellent communicator, both in French and English

- Training in transportation logistics or equivalent experience
- Computer literate
- Good ability to make decisions and react quickly in a constantly changing environment
