Summary
The Logistics Coordinator II is responsible for current accountability for travel retail inbound/outbound process both systems/paperwork and physical work.Essential FunctionsMake sure that all merchandise is processed in a timely manner and within workplace guidelinesProcess and prepare paperwork for shipping/receiving (inbound and outbound) Perform detailed paperwork to be entered into the inventory systemEnsure that all safety procedures are followedProvide excellent customer service Liaison between warehouse department and customerWave all orders for daily productionEnsure all rush orders from customer are waved and shippedRun inbound priority report Be backup for inbound and yard dispatchSupply customer with daily operational reportsWork closely with customer on product allocationAssist on special reports for location managers as well as customerTrain and develop staff on SAP, as well as trouble shoot system issuesControl all diversion of containers for customer warehousesAnalyze inventory for possible transfersBack up to customer allocation and transportation managementAnalysis of space capability and volumesCreate and post transfer loads for Customer Run inbound priority listEnsure the Ryder Yard Management System is up to date and looking at ways to improve our processAnalyze fill rate and report back to customer for all outbound ordersAdditional ResponsibilitiesPerforms other duties as assigned.Skills and AbilitiesStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as a member of a teamExperience in freight, shipping and or receivingHigh energy and highly-motivated individual with strong customer focusQualificationsCollege degree/Technical Certification preferred in business, logistics supply chain, transportation or related programH.S. diploma/GED requiredOne (1) year or more related warehouse, dispatch, customer service or administrative experience requiredOne (1) year or more Logistics, Customs and/or Supply Chain Management program or relevant experience requiredTravel
