- Own all relationships across residential distribution, lumber and building material dealers, builders, installers, contractors, and energy advisors.
- Drive product specifications at the contractor and channel level to turn opportunities into sales.
- Ensure strong product presence in-market to support local specifications and demand creation.
- Develop and execute tactical account plans aligned with national objectives for all strategic dealers and distributors across BC.
- Manage the complete flow of PBS products through distribution channels, ensuring visibility, availability, and momentum.
- Track conversions at all stages using the company’s CRM tool (Salesforce).
- Provide input to the Pricing Manager and support national strategy execution with internal partners.
- Deliver product knowledge, installation training, and technical support for builders, dealers, and contractors.
- Support the design and builder community with building science guidance, architectural details, code insights, and pre-construction activities.
- Troubleshoot issues, resolve challenges, and advocate for PBS building envelope systems.
- Serve as an industry ambassador, actively participate in local homebuilder associations and construction networks.
- Identify, negotiate, train, and manage the distributor for all new product introduction and commercialization.
- Work closely with the Building Knowledge Team, Pricing, and National Accounts to ensure strategy alignment.
- Manage project opportunities with the Commercial Channel Manager to secure specifications.
- Provide continuous feedback on market needs, competitive activity, new technologies, and co‑development opportunities.
- A relevant college degree is required (Architecture, Construction, or similar preferred).
- 5+ years of successful sales experience, ideally in building materials or construction.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Strong understanding of residential construction and building science.
- Ability to travel 60% within the BC market and occasionally outside of it.
- High business acumen with strong strategic and analytical thinking.
- Advanced competency with MS Office tools; including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams. A proficiency with Salesforce CRM is an asset.
