This role supports a large-scale digital transformation focused on implementing Salesforce Education Cloud for admissions processes. The Business Analyst will act as a technical bridge between business stakeholders, delivery teams, and platform specialists, driving requirements, data analysis, and solution alignment. The position involves working within a complex, decentralized environment to standardize processes and enable a scalable, platform-based solution.Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery activities across complex business and system processes
- Perform data gap analysis and map critical data across systems and workflows
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional and system specifications
- Conduct fit-gap analysis aligned with Salesforce platform capabilities
- Support RFP processes by defining functional scope and technical requirements
- Manage requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead validation activities during User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops to gather and align on requirements
- Develop process models, journey maps, and supporting documentation
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure scalable and sustainable solutions
- 10+ years of Business Analyst experience in complex enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce platform implementations
- Active Salesforce certification (e.g., Business Analyst, Administrator, or Consultant)
- Experience with data mapping, process modeling, and requirements elicitation
- Experience leading workshops and managing requirements across multiple stakeholders
- Experience with Salesforce Education Cloud or Industry Cloud solutions
- Experience in large-scale digital transformation programs
- Familiarity with higher education or public sector environments
- Experience supporting RFP processes and vendor selection
- Experience with UAT coordination and validation
This is a full-time permanent position based in Vancouver, BC, operating in a hybrid work environment with a combination of onsite and remote work. The role requires active Salesforce certification.
