- Provide strategic guidance and lead comprehensive contract review and negotiation strategies for major deals
- Navigate complex commercial arrangements and ensure optimal risk allocation
- Manage relationships and communications with sophisticated clients, partners, and vendors
- Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders and clients by deeply understanding their business and providing proactive, solution-oriented advice
- Strive continuously to advance legal and business practices by driving new approaches, process improvements, and leveraging legal technology
- You have been practicing commercial law for a minimum of 5 years, and you're a member of one or more provincial law societies
- Proven expertise in commercial law and enterprise contracting, and strong track record in complex deal structuring, commercial negotiation, and contract management
- Recognized for your proven track record of execution and delivery in fast-paced, complex commercial environments
- Respected for your legal skills, business judgement, initiative, creativity, learning-oriented mindset and collaborative style
- Commended for effectively communicating practical, solution-oriented legal advice effectively in both oral and written form to a diverse range of stakeholders including senior executives (English and French)
- Skilled in effectively managing a high volume of time-sensitive files and priorities and deliver on commitments
- Confident with working independently as well as within a team environment
- Committed to learning and contributing to client business strategy and working collaborating to achieve their goals
- Fluent in English and French (native-level French required)
