Our client is an established wealth advisory firm based in Vancouver. They're currently seeking a service-oriented, motivated, and enthusiastic professional to join their high-performing team as an Associate, Business Development and Client Services.Location: Vancouver, BC
Work Arrangement: Fully in office
Expected Salary Range: $60,000 - 65,000 per year, commensurate with skillset and experienceResponsibilities:Business Development and Marketing:
  • Conduct outbound outreach, including both cold and warm calls, to potential clients.
  • Record activities, maintain up?to?date client details, and keep campaign data accurate within the CRM system.
  • Track marketing campaign performance and prepare updates on their effectiveness.
  • Assist with coordinating events, webinars, seminars, and other business development initiatives.
  • Provide broad marketing assistance as well as general administrative support.
  • Ensure all marketing materials and activities follow established brand guidelines.
Client Service Support:
  • Manage the onboarding process for new clients, including necessary documentation and account setup.
  • Handle client questions and resolve issues accurately and professionally.
  • Coordinate and book calls and meetings for clients and prospective clients.
  • Prepare meeting materials, annual review packages, and required tax documents.
  • Support portfolio analysis, performance summaries, proposals, and preparation of financial plans.
  • Enter and submit trade instructions for advisor review and authorization.
Requirements:
  • Holds a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course is an asset but not required.
  • Sales or marketing background is an asset, and a strong sales track record is beneficial, though not required.
  • Experience coordinating marketing projects-such as social media, publications, or events-is considered an advantage.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of outreach with persistence and resilience.
  • Maintains a positive approach and is self?motivated to achieve goals and meet targets.
  • Open to coaching and ongoing training to continue developing skills.
  • Capable of receiving feedback, learning from errors, and implementing corrections right away.
  • Able to listen attentively, read social context, and communicate appropriately in various interactions.
  • Strong time?management abilities to juggle multiple tasks, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Comfortable making decisions independently.
  • Demonstrates curiosity and takes initiative to proactively identify needs.
  • Upholds high ethical standards and behaves with professionalism.
  • Interested in continued development through future training, courses, or designations.
