We are seeking an experienced Production Geologist to join a dynamic mining operation in Timmins, Ontario. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with strong underground or open-pit production geology experience who can support safe, efficient, and accurate ore extraction.Key Responsibilities
-Monitor daily production activities and provide geological guidance to operations teams
-Conduct ore control, mapping, sampling, and geological interpretation
-Ensure accurate identification of ore boundaries and effective dilution control
-Collaborate with mine planning, engineering, and operations departments to optimize production
-Maintain geological records, databases, and production reports
-Support grade control programs and reconciliation processes
-Participate in daily production meetings and provide geological input for decision-making
-Promote and adhere to all site safety policies and proceduresQualifications
-Minimum of 5 years of experience in production geology within the mining industry
-Degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, or a related field
-Strong knowledge of ore control, grade control, and geological mapping techniques
-Experience working in underground and/or open-pit mining environments
-Proficiency in geological software and data management systems (e.g., Leapfrog, Datamine, Vulcan, or similar)
-Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
-Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamCompensation and Benefits
