We value and encourage diversity, and we have the courage to do the right thing, even when it's hard.We are looking for an energetic, passionate, reliable Plumber Apprentice(III,IV year, Journeyman) to join our Calgary Manufacturing Plant.Reporting to the Lead hand, Plumber Apprentice is responsible for assisting in plumbing duties and also supports the installation of HVAC equipment in modular buildings/units from rough in to finishing.Job Responsibilities:
  • Installation of plumbing in modular units from rough in to finishing
  • Installation of water pipes, drainages and fixtures
  • Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the layout of the plumbing system, water supply network and drainage systems
  • Troubleshooting and testing of all plumbing fixtures and systems in the modular units
  • Follow all safety procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
  • Registered Plumber 3rd or 4th year Apprentice/ Journeyman.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Ability to work safely with a wide variety of hand and power tools and materials
  • Ability to stand, crouch and kneel for long periods of time
  • Capacity to lift heavy equipment and materials when required
