Our client, a leading manufacturer in the machining industry, is seeking a Machinist to join their team. As a Machinist, you will be part of the production department supporting various projects. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Machinist
Location: Surrey, BC
Pay Range: $35-37 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday, Afternoon or eveningWhat's the Job?
  • Set up and operate manual and CNC machines to fabricate precision parts as per engineering specifications.
  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to program CNC machines accurately.
  • Conduct inspections to verify the accuracy of machined components and make necessary adjustments.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
What's Needed?
  • Proven experience as a Machinist with proficiency in both Manual and CNC machining.
  • Strong knowledge of machine setup, operation, and programming.
  • Nice to have red seal
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
  • Familiarity with a variety of machining tools and equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
