Remote Flexibility: Hybrid Remote FlexibilityOur client, a highly reputed National Firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support lawyers practicing in the areas of Competition and Tax litigation. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can manage complex files and provide exceptional administrative and legal support in a fast-paced practice.Responsibilities:Prepare, draft, and revise litigation documents including pleadings, motion records, affidavits, factums, and books of authorities
- Coordinate with process servers and court staff regarding filing, service, and scheduling of court materials
- Manage litigation calendars, scheduling hearings, motions, examinations, and client meetings
- Assist with document production, discovery management, and trial preparation
- Prepare expense reports, dockets, and client billing
- Communicate with clients, court offices, and opposing counsel in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain accurate file records, both electronic and physical, including archiving and retrieval as needed
- Provide general administrative support to lawyers, including correspondence, memos, and presentations
- Strong knowledge of court rules, procedures, and deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management software
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Exceptional proofreading, grammar, and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
