- Pay: $100,000 to $120,0000 per year, based on experience, certifications, and commitment to on-going development.

- Work Shifts: Will vary based on the shifts worked by your team, but requires a minimum of 80 hours per shift.

- Provide direction and support to team members, fostering collaboration and ensuring that everyone is working toward common objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the general foreperson, stakeholders, and clients, ensuring that communication is clear, timely, and transparent.
- Assign tasks to team members based on their skills and expertise, ensuring efficient task completion.
- Maintain and accuracy of all records and reports related to the performance of the crew’s operation.
- Ensure the appropriate resources (personnel, materials, equipment) are available and allocated effectively throughout the project.
- Develop and manage the project budget, ensuring costs remain within the agreed-upon limits.
- Make critical decisions on behalf of the project, balancing time, cost, and quality requirements to keep the project moving forward.
- Create plans to manage timelines, identified risks, and quality control.
- Comply with applicable federal, provincial and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follows all company policies and procedures.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Current ISA Certification and a minimum of 4-5 years’ experience leading tree trimming crews.
- Herbicide applicator or operator’s certification and license as required by Wright Tree Service of Canada and local, provincial, and federal law.
- Current Class 5 Driver’s license with less than 6 demerits.
- Applicant must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
- Valid First-Aid and CPR or willingness to obtain.
- Basic knowledge of trees, including identification, growth habits and correct arboricultural techniques for the trimming, pruning, repairing, maintaining and removing, as applies to working in close proximity to energized conductors.
- Knows and understands the American National Standards for Tree Care Operations (ANSI Z133.1-2000) and the American National Standards for Proper Pruning (ANSI A300).
- Understanding of provincial and national occupational health and safety rules and guidelines.
- Experience with computers focusing on Microsoft Office products.
- Has a basic knowledge of electrical circuit and must be skilled in the reading and understanding of circuit maps.
- Ability to communicate professionally, both verbal and in writing, with the general public, customers, and fellow employees.
- Ability to work long hours and overtime during emergencies (including holidays, weekends, storm work) and will be subject to call-out work.
