- Deliver up to 15 hours of basketball coaching per week to players of various ages and skill levels.
- Plan and execute additional training sessions, focusing on skill development, game strategies, and team dynamics.
- Provide individualized feedback and guidance to players to help them improve their performance.
- Assist in the recruitment and selection of players for the basketball program.
- Design and implement training programs and development initiatives to enhance player skills and overall team performance.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to ensure a cohesive and effective basketball program.
- Schedule training sessions, games, and tournaments in coordination with the team's schedule and in collaboration with the Senior Sports Development Officer.
- Keep accurate records of player attendance, performance, and progress.
- Allocate 5 hours per week to administrative tasks, including scheduling, recruitment, program design, and implementation.
- Develop initiatives to increase participation numbers and meet set targets.
- Collaborate with the management team to identify opportunities for financial rewards based on meeting participation and performance targets.
- Proven experience as a basketball coach, preferably in a development or youth program.
- Extensive knowledge of basketball fundamentals, strategies, and training methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with players of all ages and backgrounds.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to balance coaching and administrative responsibilities.
- Ability to develop and implement training programs tailored to individual and team needs.
- Familiarity with recruitment processes and strategies to attract talented players.
- Passion for basketball and a commitment to personal and professional development.
- Valid coaching certifications and qualification.
