Our client, a leading logistics and cross-dock operations provider, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the Cross-Dock Operations department supporting freight handling and logistics efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, safety consciousness, and teamwork, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Forklift Operator

Pay Range: $22.00 per hour
Shift: 4:00pm - 12:30amWhat's the Job?
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and stage freight safely and efficiently.
  • Scan freight using electronic handheld devices to ensure tracking and location accuracy.
  • Identify and report uncrated, unpalletized, or otherwise non-compliant or unsafe freight to supervisors.
  • Ensure proper placement and staging of freight for outbound and inbound movement.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including equipment checks and incident reporting.
What's Needed?
  • Valid forklift license and experience operating forklifts in a cross-dock or warehouse environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in freight handling and scanning.
  • Basic knowledge of safety regulations and material handling protocols.
  • Effective communication skills to report issues or hazards in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
