- Developing and maintaining our S-Series retail product using React, Ruby-on-Rails, NodeJS and Python
- Collaborating with product managers, developers and stakeholders as part of a cross-functional team to deliver features and functionality
- Writing code that is clean, tested, maintainable, and efficient
- Extending your own skills by learning from and growing with the team
- Supporting and mentoring junior engineers on the team
- Contributing to the development of innovative technical solutions to solve problems for our customers

- Strong proficiency in React or a similar front-end technology
- Experience developing for the backend in at least one of Ruby, Python, NodeJS
- Experience developing and shipping production-grade software
- A strong sense of ownership for your features
- Ability to analyse production environments, incidents and performance characteristics
- Passion for learning new things and a desire to continuously improve
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software projects on time
- Experience with relational (SQL) databases
- Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Real-time messaging systems e.g. Kafka
- You have a strong will to learn, grow and get out of your comfort zone
- You are a problem solver who does not shy away from tackling complexity and critical thinking
