- Lead and support administrative teams across Provincial and SARO offices.
- Conduct regular team meetings and ensure operational alignment.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and staff development.
- Approve overtime, leave, remote work, and timesheet submissions.
- Coordinate coverage during staff absences and manage reception services.
- Represent the department at Board and District meetings when required.
- Participate in strategic operations meetings and contribute to organizational initiatives.
- Develop and deliver training materials for staff and members.
- Oversee facilities maintenance and ensure safe, secure office environments.
- Refine and implement administrative procedures and internal communication systems.
- Respond to complaints and concerns from members, staff, and local representatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in unionized or regulated sectors.
- Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and strategic problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and advocacy abilities.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable access to a vehicle (travel required across Alberta).
- Supervisory or mentoring experience in a unionized or professional setting.
- Experience managing multi-site operations and administrative systems.
