Experience operating a grader is considered an asset
Must have a valid minimum class G driver's licence with driver’s abstract meeting Miller’s expectations
Operate in a fast pace and demanding environment in a safe and effective manner
Effective communication skills and work well with others
Must have a high attention to detail and the ability to think critically
Punctual and reliable
Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as required
Comfortable working outdoors in inclement weather conditions
Responsibilities
Operate a grader completing various gravel operations and fine grading tasks safely and efficiently
Clean and maintain equipment and perform minor repairs (including lubricating equipment, and refilling equipment tanks)
Conduct daily circle checks of equipment before operating
Complete maintenance records and daily equipment log
Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment
Perform all fluid level checks, fueling, greasing, undercarriage cleaning, etc. as required
Productively operate in a collaborative manner with all crew members
Comply and enforce the company’s environmental, health and safety policies
Act in accordance with Provincial Occupational Health and Safety regulations and practices
Travel for extended periods of time throughout Ontario
Other duties as required
