Position Summary:Tacten is currently recruiting for a Tool Crib Attendant based out of our Fort Saskatchewan facility. Compliance with ISO or company specific quality programs and the appropriate use of procedures
Assist employees in making selections for supplies and equipment; monitor and control inventory levels of materials, equipment and stock;
Receiving, sorting and distributing goods to the appropriate location or stock items in the tool crib.
Maintain records of orders and the amount, kind and location of parts and supplies on hand using a manual or a computerized inventory system.
Upkeep and maintenance of the tool crib.
Requirements:Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a related industrial settingValid Driver’s LicenseStrong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experienceSolid knowledge of basic hand/trade tools, welding equipment, etc.Proficient with computers and Microsoft programs; able to work both independently and in a team environmentAdditional safety training and IATA TDG certification considered an assetAbility to successfully complete all required safety trainingForklift certificate and capability to operate a forklift (valid permit) considered an asset Benefits:The strength of Tacten lies in its outstanding people.
