Dawson Civil is looking to hire a skilled Fuel & Lube Technician, responsible for assisting in the fueling, greasing and overall maintenance of a large fleet of heavy equipment.In this role you will be a valued member of working in a temporary, full-time position of Fuel & Lube Technician, reporting to the Foreman. The crew will be on varying day and night shifts on a rotational schedule of 14/7. Your base location will be Princeton, BC. and will require some travel throughout our great province.WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Be alert to risks or threats and work proactively to ensure safety of self and peers
Give proper care to the operation and maintenance of the vehicles
Must be dependable and reliable
Must be capable of documenting and report on the status of the equipment to the Team Leader
Fill out daily Service Reports and fueling records
WHAT YOU BRING
Experience operating or maintaining heavy equipment
Class 1 or 3 license with air brake endorsement is considered an asset
Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) is preferred
First aid experience is an asset
Excellent written and verbal communication
College or industry courses in heavy equipment operating is considered an asset
