- Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments under the mentorship and direction of a physiotherapist.
- Design, implement and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning and/or work hardening programs.
- Perform biweekly reassessment of client progress through functional testing.
- Record functional and subjective findings in client charts regularly.
- Responsible for the marketing and growth of the kinesiology department through analysis of the stakeholders to create a strategic marketing plan with the assistance of the clinic director.
- Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals.
- Conduct group orientation and education lectures, and regular one-on-one education to clients.
- Complete functional components of reports for initial, progress and discharge.
- Ensure return-to-work plans with the client and employer have been made and documented in the client's chart.
- Registered and in good standing with the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists.
- Preferably with clinical outpatient rehabilitation experience in areas such as WorkSafe CRP Program, ICBC, JSV, return to work/brain injury/neurological rehabilitation, mental health, musculoskeletal/orthopedic injury, and home safety ergonomics is an asset.
