The instructor will design and deliver engaging sessions on topics such as EMI classroom communication strategies, academic vocabulary, course planning, assessment methods, and adapting instructional materials for multilingual learners.The role requires close collaboration with a fellow instructor to ensure curriculum coherence and pedagogical alignment, as well as the supervision of a teaching assistant. Responsibilities include preparing and facilitating lessons, creating and evaluating assignments, integrating relevant digital teaching tools, and providing constructive feedback to participants. Instruction will be aligned with the program’s objectives to enhance participants’ English proficiency and strengthen their capacity to teach effectively in EMI contexts, supporting their professional growth and institutional internationalization goals.Comments: This course is offered exclusively on the University of Ottawa campus and requires in-person instruction. Professors teaching the same section mutually agree upon teaching schedules.
