- Manage the staffing process, such as scheduling and hiring, to ensure levels are sufficient; hold associates accountable for work quality and performance, and manage this performance by developing and communicating excellent standards of production and service
- Hold direct reports accountable for work quality and performance, and manage this performance by developing and communicating excellent standards of production and service
- Direct the compliance of staff with administrative policies and procedures; Direct training programs to ensure understanding and compliance
- Oversee transportation total spend, report trends, and vendor participation levels to the Controller
- Oversee transportation vendor approval and setup, with regard to proper insurance and business viabilityRequirements:- 4-year Bachelor's Degree required.
- Strong Leadership ability
- Knowledgeable within the transportation large equipment industry
- 5+ years of experience in Fleet Maintenance or related field required.
- PC skills using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work with team members and work with minimal supervision
