We need an innovator that will solve complex technical problems in large scale systems, drive new product initiatives and enhancements in a highly engaged collaborative environment.In this role you will get to:Manage a team(s) of high caliber software engineers.Support and collaborate with other technology leaders in Priceline, as well as other leaders within your immediate team, to continuously improve existing opportunities, responsibilities and new endeavors.Identify opportunities and drive improvement in our services & contribute to the ongoing and ever-changing development of global flights platformProvide coaching and guidance to team members as assigned, as well as effectively manage team member performance.Lead multiple projects, including planning, prioritization, and task delegation.Enforce accountability for the quality of software that is created.Who you are:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent practical experience.4+ years of engineering management experience along with a track record of hiring and retaining strong engineering talent.Experience with Java, Spring, Mysql, Cloud, Kubenetes, Containers, kafka and distributed systems design.Display leadership through transformation, display management through positive influence.Conduct training and workshops, provide a management strategy including but not limited to development through agile, visuals & documentation, problem solving, KPI and metrics, capacity management, coaching and feedback, as well as individual development plans.Data driven mentality that translates into actionable conclusions & solutions to problems.Illustrated history of living the values necessary to Priceline: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability and Trust.The Right Results, the Right Way is not just a motto at Priceline; it’s a way of life.
