Your Role as a Senior Parts TechnicianAs a Senior Parts Technician, you will play a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly by ensuring technicians have timely access to the parts they need. You’ll be part of a high-performing maintenance team focused on safety, efficiency, and quality. This position will work in a mainly solo environment under remote guidance from the Journeyperson Parts Technician.Key Responsibilities

Responsible for ordering parts, organizing the site and inventory, and providing direct support to technicians to ensure SOUTHLAND school buses are maintained safely, efficiently, and effectively
Supply parts for the ongoing maintenance and repair of buses
Identify and implement cost-effective solutions for parts sourcing
Complete all documentation related to parts, inventory, and equipment repairs

Qualifications

3-5+ years of related experience
Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
Computer proficiency, including inventory systems
Valid driver's license
Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills
