- Providing advice to contractors and owners on ongoing construction projects related to scheduling, cost control and contract administration
- Assessing the cause and effect of impacts to project schedule and cost
- Performing dispute related analyses to assess delays and cost damages, including:
- Critical path delay analysis
- Prolongation cost analysis
- Discrete damages analysis
- Cost escalation analysis
- Labor productivity analysis
- Producing and assessing contractor and owner claims for additional time and cost
- Supporting on expert reports in dispute resolution procedures
- Providing high-quality and timely service to our clients
- You will develop your report drafting and analytical skills
- You will develop your understanding of a wide variety of construction sectors and delivery models
- You will become an expert communicator, with the ability to concisely convey key information
- You will develop your presentation skills with senior construction and legal professionals
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- At least one year of professional post-graduate experience in the construction industry or a related profession
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), mathematical, and organizational skills
- Proficient working knowledge of report drafting, data analysis and presentation applications such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in Canada for any employer on a full-time basis; this position does not provide visa sponsorship.
- Master's degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- Proficient working knowledge of relevant industry schedule management software including Primavera P6, and MS Project
