Vibrant and inclusive work culture that values creativity and collaboration.Position Description: Lead and manage strategic SourceBlue business and sales activities to support and achieve short and long-term supply chain operations plan goals in alignment with designated Turner Construction Company business units and external customers.Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, develop, and implement supply chain growth strategy and business plans for SourceBlue in alignment with Turner Construction Company (Turner) business units and external customers.
  • Define, measure, and accountable to achieve top-level key performance indicators (KPIs) for SourceBlue activities and financial and operational performance (e.g., Profit & Loss (P&L) statements) in alignment with SourceBlue central organization revenue goals.
  • Directly sell and deliver projects based on strategic sales pipeline. Survey market to identify business growth in pre-sales and sales value chain and create conceptual design packages to attract new and repeat customers.
  • Develop utilization staffing plan for secured work and future business opportunities to maximize earnings and create balanced cost distributions.
  • Manage, build, and maintain relationships with key customer accounts and national and regional vendors in partnership with SourceBlue central organization.
  • Build and maintain trusted partnerships with Turner management and external customers to advocate and advance SourceBlue participation in projects and conduct KPI reviews to assess goal progress.
  • Collaborate with SourceBlue Product Platform Group to support new product offerings, vendor relationships and new product implementations.
  • Collaborate with Turner management and SourceBlue Management to align staff utilization with career development opportunities (e.g., rotations and mobility) for optimal efficiency and career progression within SourceBlue and Turner.
  • Lead successful delivery of projects and identify opportunities to team and collaborate with SourceBlue central organization and other Turner entities (e.g., Turner Engineering Group (TEG)).
  • Craft and design scope of work for advanced technical solutions with support from SourceBlue central organization product platform (e.g., Design For Manufacturer & Assembly (DFMA), Design Consulting, Multi-Tier Supply Chain).
  • Participate in company-wide projects related sourcing and procurement to identify sales opportunities, and vendor capacity and related risks. • Develop synergy with other SourceBlue Business Managers and teams to facilitate, support, collaborate, and align initiatives and best practices.
  • Participate in company-wide development of lean and continuous improvement activities to establish efficiency for current workflows and operational standards.
  • Promote and represent company and its services as industry leader to key stakeholders.
  • Serve as project team's escalation contact for compliance, risk, and financial reporting policies and practices to effectively identify, report, and mitigate risks and financial impacts to SourceBlue, Turner, and external customers
  • Participate in hiring process, onboard and deliver timely performance feedback for direct reports, execute/contribute to performance appraisals during annual performance cycle, utilize talent management systems, and identify appropriate training to help with development needs. • Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Business development and management background focused on strategic sales and revenue generation with wide product competencies and minimum of 12 years of commercial construction or related experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience; Bachelor's Degree from accredited degree program, desired
  • Thorough understanding of commercial construction industry and markets, including knowledge of owners, developers, architects, and key supply chain vendors who work within respective region or markets
  • Technical expertise to differentiate services and value proposition to secure and close business
  • Leadership skills to build engaging partnerships with team and organizational stakeholders through trust, teamwork and direct communication
  • Apply critical business thinking to strategic business planning, operations, and financial performance
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and operate with accelerated performance and drive concurrent complex and competing demands, requests, and short-cycle deadlines for self and team
  • Interpersonal relationship building skills, ability to engage and secure partnerships with a broad range of contacts in construction industry and supply chain arena
