You work well with a team and continually strive to provide our guests the finest mountain recreational experience by providing safe and well-maintained terrain and ensuring the snow grooming equipment is operated safely and efficiently.This position is a full-time seasonal position that runs from November – AprilEssential Job Functions
Grooming of assigned runs and trails, lift ramps/terminals, and complete all snow gun moves as required by the Snowmaking Supervisor..
Arrive at work on time, rested and ready for the working shift.
Perform equipment inspections and basic equipment maintenance
Reporting unusual conditions, trail concerns, or equipment issues to supervisor.
Required Qualifications and Abilities
Valid Driver’s license – A driver’s abstract check will be required prior to operating equipment
Previous experience operating a Winch snowcat is an asset. Previous experience winching is an asset.
Must be able to work night shifts and sit for long periods of time
Mechanically inclined with experience in performing light maintenance and trouble shooting.
Ability to work in an isolated, outdoor, winter environment with variable weather conditions and terrain.
Detail oriented.
Self-motivated, responsible and willing to learn.
Physically able to lift 50lbs at any time.
