- Manage the full incident management lifecycle-logging, prioritizing, communicating, and resolving incidents efficiently
- Serve as the primary point of contact during major incidents; lead coordination across technical and business teams
- Act as the focal point for incident escalation and communication with internal stakeholders and external clients
- Lead and facilitate bridge calls during major incidents to ensure swift resolution
- Conduct post-incident reviews to identify root causes and develop preventive strategies
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to resolve incidents in compliance with SLAs
- Track, monitor, and report on incident metrics to identify patterns and opportunities for process enhancement
- Continuously improve incident response protocols and standards
- Provide advanced-level product support and analysis for internal teams and external service partners
- Participate in internal projects focused on improving support delivery and incident handling
- Provide 24/7 on-call support on a rotational basis
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in incident management, ideally within the banking or financial services sector
- Strong understanding of incident management protocols and ITIL best practices (ITIL Foundation certification preferred)
- Proficiency with incident management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy, JIRA)
- Excellent communication skills-both verbal and written, with the ability to adapt messaging for technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure with multiple stakeholders involved
- Proven track record of time management and task prioritization in fast-paced environments
