Job Description:We are looking for a skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team on a long-term contract in North York, Ontario. In this hybrid role, you will play a key part in onboarding new customers and modernizing systems for a B2B environment. This position offers the opportunity to work on a mix of database management and coding tasks, with a focus on creating efficient solutions that meet client needs.Responsibilities:
  • Configure systems to support the onboarding of new customers, ensuring seamless integration into the platform.
  • Develop and modify code using C# and .NET frameworks to meet project requirements.
  • Create, update, and optimize stored procedures in SQL Server to enhance database performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and solve technical challenges.
  • Utilize version control tools like GitHub to manage and maintain codebases.
  • Conduct testing and debugging to ensure quality and functionality of applications.
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders when necessary.
  • Participate in system integration efforts, ensuring compatibility and efficiency across platforms.
  • Contribute to the modernization of existing systems to align with current industry standards.
  • Support team members by sharing knowledge and promoting best practices in development.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience with C# and .NET development.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server 2019, including stored procedures and database management.
  • Hands-on experience with version control systems like GitHub.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address technical challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Familiarity with ASP.NET Web Forms and JavaScript frameworks such as React.js is an asset.
  • Experience with system integration and Azure DevOps is considered a plus.
