
Project Director – Quality Project Management Team (QPMT)

- Responsible for collaboration with the Project team on the overall project strategy, quality management plan, and management plan.
- Provide Project Management oversight to Quality PMT for overall delivery of Project objectives, including establishing annual strategic plans that align with the overall project objectives.
- Ensure an aligned approach for DNNP Quality Assurance in coordination with the Partner Quality Directors.
- Develop Quality Strategic Plan for integrating source surveillance activities for procurements.
- Oversee Process Improvement initiatives, including Adverse Condition Event Reporting (ACER), to ensure leading and lagging indications are established and reviewed for effectiveness.
- Develop and oversee an integrated site Non-Conformance tracking and resolution.
- Oversee self-assessments on project activities to identify quality gaps that may pose risks to the project and get actions effectively closed.
- Manage overall QPMT budget and staffing plan in collaboration with Partner Quality Representatives.
- Initiate a Stop Work Order when activities are significantly deviating from the Quality and technical requirements.
- Initiate effectiveness review of all SL1 and SL2 corrective action, and present results to project management.

- 15+ years’ experience in Project Management of Construction projects, including having a sound knowledge of standard project control practices and change management experience.
- University Degree in Engineering or Business Management
- PMP Designation an asset
- Demonstrated leadership experience leading a team, including leading strategic strategy implementation.
- Experience in Nuclear Quality program standards and processes including CSA N286; CSA N 299, ISO 9001; 10CFR50; ASME Section III Div 1 or Div 5.
- Required to work five (5) days per week in the Oshawa office.
- Business travel as required.
