- Understand and translate financial and technical requirements into system specifications and documentation
- Analyze and improve manual and automated accounting workflows and reporting systems
- Prioritize and lead projects based on ROI, resource availability, and strategic value
- Collaborate with operations and business units to evaluate and implement digital technologies
- Support system implementations and regional go-live activities
- Develop and lead a project management office, including oversight of project managers and business analysts
- Facilitate cross-functional reporting initiatives and maintain best practices for data-driven reporting
- Deliver presentations, training, and communications to stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for performance improvement and apply creative problem-solving techniques
- Stay current with system updates, features, and best practices
- Bachelor's degree in commerce or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in real estate development
- Expertise in accounting systems (job costing, GL, payables/receivables, financial analysis)
- Experience with SharePoint workflows and project integrations
- Familiarity with multi-enterprise structures and ERP systems (NewStar or similar)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SQL for report building
- Knowledge of payable automation systems (e.g., IPAS)
- Strong communication, leadership, and coaching skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and influence across departments
- Satisfactory criminal record check
