- Develop and implement comprehensive quality management systems tailored to manufacturing operations.
- Supervise inspections for incoming materials, monitor in-process checks, and oversee final product assessments to ensure standards are met.
- Lead investigations into quality issues, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes and improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Manage and mentor a team of quality control professionals, including technicians and inspectors.
- Maintain accurate quality documentation, records, and audit reports to ensure compliance.
- Coordinate and participate in internal and external quality audits, ensuring corrective actions are addressed promptly.
- Analyze key performance indicators and quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and customers to resolve quality concerns and enhance satisfaction.
- Must be willing to work fully on site.
- Post secondary education in Engineering is needed.
- 3-5 years of experience in quality control or quality management within a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and experience with quality management tools.
- Strong knowledge of quality metrics, KPI reporting, and quality assurance processes.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Familiarity with conducting audits and maintaining compliance documentation.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, particularly with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
