Job Description:Robert Half is looking for a dedicated Quality Control Manager to oversee quality assurance processes within a manufacturing operations in the Napanee area.   • Develop and implement comprehensive quality management systems tailored to manufacturing operations.
  • Supervise inspections for incoming materials, monitor in-process checks, and oversee final product assessments to ensure standards are met.
  • Lead investigations into quality issues, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective and preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes and improve manufacturing efficiency.
  • Manage and mentor a team of quality control professionals, including technicians and inspectors.
  • Maintain accurate quality documentation, records, and audit reports to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate and participate in internal and external quality audits, ensuring corrective actions are addressed promptly.
  • Analyze key performance indicators and quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and customers to resolve quality concerns and enhance satisfaction.
Requirements:Qualifications:
  • Must be willing to work fully on site.
  • Post secondary education in Engineering is needed.
  • 3-5 years of experience in quality control or quality management within a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and experience with quality management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of quality metrics, KPI reporting, and quality assurance processes.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Familiarity with conducting audits and maintaining compliance documentation.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, particularly with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
