
Machine Operator - Millturn Automated Line - Night Shift

- Setup machinery, by loading and unloading aircraft parts into the machine.
- Start and run machinery as per standard procedures.
- Work alongside with Machinist to optimize machines and produce quality parts.
- Manage and monitor machine tooling
- Monitor performance of the process to meet drawing requirements.
- Monitor machine operation and troubleshoot where necessary & report problems
- Perform inspection of parts produced with high degrees of accuracy to comply with OSV requirements.
- Troubleshoot issues and perform preventative maintenance.
- Support and promote continuous improvement, 5S activities and Standard Work Development in the cell
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Typically requires Grade 12 diploma, with a minimum of two years of relevant Machine Operator experience in a manufacturing environment.
- The selected candidate must be eligible to work in Canada; successful candidate must meet all requirements under ITAR and CCGP.
- Demonstrated ability to operate and use an overhead crane in a safe manner.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (English).
- Willingness to train in the cell and to work overtime.
- Zoller tool presetting experience.
