About the RoleAbout the RoleWe are looking for a Junior-level full-stack engineer with strong backend fundamentals who can build, ship, and maintain production features. You will work with APIs, webhooks, payments, and external integrations. You don't need to be a systems architect - but you must be comfortable owning features end-to-end.ResponsibilitiesAs a junior-level engineer, you will:Implement backend services using Node.js (TypeScript preferred)Build and integrate REST APIs and external services (Stripe, Shopify, etc.)Develop and maintain user-facing UI with ReactIntegrate data from internal & external APIsHandle webhooks, async tasks, and error flowsParticipate in code reviews and testingDebug production issues (logs, requests, queries)Write documentation for features you shipCollaborate with product and engineering on technical scopingRequired Skills & ExperienceYou should have real production experience with:BackendStrong with Node.jsExperience building REST APIsUnderstanding of authentication, sessions, cookies, JWTExperience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred)Experience with database queries, indexing, migrationsFamiliarity with queues / retries / webhooksPayments / IntegrationsExperience working with Stripe or similar paymentsUnderstanding of payment flows (checkout, subscriptions, retries, 3DS, etc.)Experience consuming or integrating external APIsFrontendStrong enough with React to build/modify production componentsFamiliarity with state management (Context/Redux/Zustand/React Query)Comfortable with API-driven UIInfrastructure / DevOps basicsComfortable with GitExperience with Docker or cloud deployment workflows (AWS, Railway, etc.)Ability to debug via logs, metrics, CI/CD pipelines
