- Lead and manage production teams across multiple shifts in a high-speed, automated environment.
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and mentor supervisors and line leaders to ensure operational excellence.
- Collaborate with HR on staffing, training, and performance management.
- Oversee daily operations of automated dipping lines, mixing room, packaging systems, and material handling.
- Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines are consistently met.
- Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to address deviations.
- Coordinate with maintenance and engineering to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Optimization Lead root cause analysis and resolution of production issues, including mechanical, process, and quality-related problems.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve yield.
- Work closely with automation and controls teams to fine-tune system performance.
- Participate in or lead the commissioning of new production lines or facilities.
- Develop SOPs, training programs, and operational workflows for startup environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, supply chain) during ramp-up phases.
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Promote a proactive safety culture and lead incident investigations.
- Maintain compliance with ISO, GMP, and other relevant quality systems.
- 10+ years in nitrile glove or polymer-based manufacturing, with at least 5+ years in leadership.
- Strong understanding of automated dipping lines, robotics, PLC systems, and SCADA interfaces.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment and process issues.
- Demonstrated success leading diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485, FDA, CE, and other relevant standards. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present to executives and lead cross-functional teams.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in production analytics tools.
- Degree or diploma in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in launching or scaling up a new factory or production line is a strong asset.
- Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement training.
- Experience with ERP systems and digital manufacturing platforms.
