Shipper/Receiver - Assembly EssentialFull-time: Monday to FridayDepartment: Shipping - Stock ProgramPosition Status: This job posting is for a current, existing vacancy.Hourly Rate: $17.60/ hourReports To: Shipping/Receiving SupervisorPurpose of Position:· Ensuring the efficient handling and movement of goods within our warehouse.· Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.Result Areas of the Position:· Managing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and coordinating with various departments to fulfill orders promptly.· Proper processing, packaging, and labelling of inventory and customer orders.· Communicate effectively with internal teams to coordinate shipment schedules and priorities.· Ensure compliance with regulations governing the handling and transportation of hazardous materials.· Track and trace shipments and communicate with customers as required.· Ensure all outgoing shipments are organized, meet quality standards and customer requirements.· Generate shipping documents.· Monthly inventory count.Qualifications:· High School Diploma or equivalent.· Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred· Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.· Working knowledge of PC environment and applications.· Ability to lift, push and carry 25 to 50 pounds repeatedly.· Ability to work with minimal supervision.· Good hand and eye coordination.· Ability to work in a multi-tasked, fast paced multi-department environment.· Reliable attendance.Activities and Tasks:· Packaging and shipping orders.· Previous Warehouse and Forklift Experience - Preferred.· Single Source Shipping System.· Business System Receiving & Shipping.· Customs Processing.· End of Day Processing.· Recycling material handling.· Maintain good departmental housekeeping according to Health & Safety guidelines.Perform activities required by the ISO 9001 and Sterling Quality Management SystemPlease apply toApplication Contact InformationCompany Name: Sterling Marking Products Inc.
