- Provide project management support and negotiation leadership with supply base to execute purchase orders and/or contracts, and to resolve performance issues, warranty disputes, and claims as required.
- Take an active role in managing critical supplier relationships as needed to ensure compliance to contractual agreements, terms, conditions, schedule, quality, safety, deliverables, etc.
- Monitor market conditions and maintain an understanding of cost drivers that affect our critical source of supply.
- Provide expediting support as needed to maintain operational goals.
- Proven experience with RFI/RFP/RFQ, analysis of supplier proposals, negotiation of contract commercial terms and conditions with suppliers.
- Taska related with D365 implementation as needed
- Bachelors’ degree in an applicable Technical or Business area and minimum 5 years of experience in a progressive procurement environment.
- Knowledge of technical purchasing/procurement processes and practices, and the ethics of the supplier/purchaser relationship.
- Experience with capital asset acquisition programs in a fast-paced, highly technical industry/environment.
- Clear understanding & experience working with INCOTERMS for international logistics.
- Working knowledge with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.
- Industry experience is considered an asset.
