What you will doWe are looking for undergraduate or master’s students with knowledge in cybersecurity to join the Advisory Services function team as an intern.KPMG is seeking a skilled and energetic individual to join its Cybersecurity team, in the Advisory group. The ideal candidate will have a solid track record, strong analytical, writing, and communication skills, as well as demonstrated teamwork abilities.The intern will work within a dynamic and experienced team that provides advice to public, private, and non-profit sector clients, contributing to a variety of projects.Your responsibilities will include:
  • Automating processes to improve cybersecurity analysis.
  • Working on the deployment of serverless infrastructure in the cloud and optimizing artificial intelligence models.
  • Sorting large-scale data (notably from vulnerability scans or pentests) to produce comprehensible and readable reports for clients.
  • Understanding data from both a technical and business perspective.
  • Collaborating with experienced analysts and pentesters who will assist in analyses and results.
What you bring to the roleWe are looking for candidates passionate about cybersecurity, meeting the following qualifications:
  • Outstanding academic records in undergraduate or graduate studies, preferably in cybersecurity-related fields.
  • Strong extracurricular activity record (case competitions, student associations, collective initiatives, etc.).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including experience drafting presentations and compelling reports.
  • Ability to work effectively in teams and establish relationships.
  • Proven ability to demonstrate initiative, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with diverging priorities.
  • Strong ability to build relationships with clients, colleagues, and community members.
  • Willingness to continuously learn, acquire new skills, take on new responsibilities, and conduct research to broaden your knowledge.
  • Relevant professional experience where you gained insights into our main business sectors (an asset).
