Rural Roads Health Services (RRHS) is actively seeking applicants for an OTA/PTA position in the Rehabilitation Services Department.The primary location for this position is: Tillsonburg District Memorial HospitalQualifications:
  • Occupational Therapist Assistant and Physiotherapist Assistant Diploma required or equivalent deemed acceptable to the hospital
  • Must possess current BLS certificate.
  • One-year recent PT/OT Assistant experience required or equivalent deemed acceptable to the hospital.
  • Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize patient care needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform duties independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to function productively as a team member in an interdisciplinary setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in the usage of various programs such as Cerner, Powerchart and Microsoft Office.
  • Skilled with the interaction of patients and families to provide patient focused, goal-oriented care.
  • Ability to demonstrate a commitment to Privacy and Confidentiality.
  • Excellent attendance record and work ethics in previous positions.
Other pertinent conditions:
  • Salary per the UNIFOR collective agreement ($34.46 per hour to $35.65 per hour)
