Your Tasks
  • Oversee the packaging process for all products, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and
quality standards.
  • Develop and implement packaging strategies that prioritize safety and enhance product quality.
  • Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality assurance teams to optimize packaging materials
and processes.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and quality checks throughout the packaging process and implement
corrective actions, as necessary.
  • Train and mentor packaging staff on best practices, safety protocols and quality control techniques.
  • Monitor machine performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement continuous improvement
initiatives to optimize operational efficiency and uptime.
  • Work closely with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to ensure timely and effective
machine repairs and upgrades
  • Prepare reports on packaging performance metrics, highlighting safety incidents and quality
improvements to management.
  • Ensure Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) requirements are met for food safety
  • Deliver ‘zero defect’ packaged product volumes and warehouse shipments for delivery to customers
  • Implement practical continuous improvement Kaizen initiatives to improve operating results
  • Maintain daily communication with the Purification and Order Processing Departments on the
volume of products shipped and on the warehouse inventory level
  • Manage daily the forward-looking production plan to ensure volumes and granulations are provided
“on-time” by Production Departments to meet orders
  • Monitor final product quality and granulation targets, re-book stock where necessary and provide
feedback to production to ensure customer requirements are met
Your Profile
  • BSc, BTech, or Engineering Technology degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical (Mechatronics
Engineering preferred)
  • Good skills in Microsoft Office and SAP
  • 5 years in a manufacturing management position preferably in food manufacturing or a related
industry
