Technical Skills:
- Demonstrated experience in business analysis to support systems development using a rules engine or business process automation platform
- Experience developing business models; use case models; conceptual and logical data models; process and data flow models; use case surveys; test cases; business rules definition and non-functional requirements definitions for assigned projects
- Demonstrated experience in projects using an agile development methodology
- Advanced practical knowledge of presentation/project software, Microsoft software, with emphasis on Excel, Visio, Figma and DevOps
- Demonstrated experience leading and conducting business analysis to assess client's business problems/opportunities and documenting business requirements
- Experience conducting policy and business analysis that can be accommodated within existing frameworks and IT solutions to minimize project time/cost implications
- Demonstrated experience applying business process transformation and re-engineering concepts to promote business improvements through alternative, cost effective service delivery approaches
- Demonstrated experience leading and conducting business analysis at varying levels of detail, appropriate to the project and phases of project, aligning with Enterprise Architecture and Gating Process
- Experience developing project approval documents, policy approval documents and regulation change materials and other supporting documentation needed for the project
- Demonstrated experience documenting requirements for business rule automation and workflow management solutions
- Experience developing and providing input to QA, system and user acceptance testing strategies, plans and scenarios
- Knowledge and understanding of policy development and analysis, business analysis and data analysis practices
- Knowledge of project management principles and methods to plan and conduct initiatives, measure pre-determined performance standards, and monitor and report on progress
- Demonstrated experience in a health or clinical context
- Demonstrated experience supporting stakeholder engagement activities, particularly in a healthcare context
- Demonstrated experience with the privacy and security requirements of software development in a healthcare or clinical context
- Demonstrated experience in claim adjudication or pharmaceutical context
- You have demonstrated knowledge of or the ability to learn the ministry/division/branch mandate, government direction on integrated health care services, health systems partners and service providers to develop processes and recommendations aligned with program delivery
- You have demonstrated experience in service and program management, program evaluation, program change coordination, and stakeholder communications
- Knowledge of ministry business objectives and operations, relevant legislation, policies, procedures and guidelines to develop recommendations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Strong consulting skills to engage with all stakeholders
- A demonstrated team player with a track record for meeting deadlines
- Demonstrated leadership experience leading small and large teams, sub-groups, committees
- Demonstrated experience monitoring progress, resolving problems and reporting regularly to business and I&IT management decision-makers
- Demonstrated experience developing and/or supporting the development of training and communication materials in support of large system implementations.
- Exceptionally well-developed presentation skills to inform internal and external stakeholder groups, particularly in a healthcare context
