Stony Mountain, ManitobaThe Technical Sales Representative is responsible for developing new business opportunities and expanding global market reach for MicroPilot's advanced UAV autopilot solutions. This role focuses on proactive outbound sales, identifying and engaging aerospace and UAV manufacturers early in their design cycle, and converting high-value opportunities into long lasting partnerships.Working closely with the founder and a technical team, the successful candidate will help strengthen the company's sales structure while representing MicroPilot professionally across international markets. This role is exciting for someone who enjoys both technical conversations and strategic business development in a specialized, high-impact industry.As the Technical Sales Representative you will:
- Drive outbound sales efforts to generate new opportunities within the global UAV and aerospace market.
- Identify, engage, and build relationships with manufacturers developing mission-critical drone platforms.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting through qualification, quoting, and closing.
- Position MicroPilot's autopilot systems and flight control technologies as the preferred solution within complex UAV programs.
- Represent the company at international trade shows and industry events to develop face-to-face relationships.
- Maintain disciplined pipeline management using CRM tools and contribute to building a scalable sales process.
- 5+ years of experience in a technical or engineering-related sales role.
- Proven ability to proactively develop business and execute a strategic sales plan.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both business leaders and technical stakeholders.
- Technically curious with the ability to participate in detailed product or engineering discussions.
- Mechanical aptitude or background in mechanical engineering, engineering technology, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Willingness to travel internationally and represent the company in global markets.
