Location: Montreal or Quebec CityFull-Time Permanent - 100% ON SITEYour responsibilities are:The QA coordinator contributes, through his/her precision, critical thinking and competencies, to meeting quality and service standards, and thus to achieving the corporate goals of Bureau Veritas. Furthermore, the QA coordinator works in close relationship with the QA Manager and other members of the organization to pursue the organization's strategic objectives and makes recommendations to the QA Manager to improve Bureau Veritas policies and procedures. It is essential that the activities for which the QA coordinator is responsible for are performed rigorously and thoughtfully and within the established deadlines to ensure that all activities meet the requirements of clients and accreditation bodies. To this effect, the QA coordinator must:
- Participate in the internal audit program
- Conduct audits,
- Review and approve responses to identified non-conformances,
- Actively collaborate to changes and innovations.
- Coordinate the Proficiency Testing (PT) program
- Coordinate the reception of PT samples,
- Compile results and submit to the provider,
- Review PT reports,
- Coordinate responses to non-conformances,
- Update scorecards.
- Maintain the Quality Management Software
- Provide support on the software to the users,
- Extract summaries and distribute to the management team,
- Manage and review the management system documentation.
- Develop and Deliver training
- Give individual and group training sessions,
- In person and remote training,
- Practical and informative training sessions.
- Assist internal customers in addressing questions, concerns and stuck points with regards to quality practices
- Through emails, calls and in person or remote meetings.
- Perform various administrative tasks
- Write, correct and format procedures, corrective letters and audit reports,
- Print and distribute documents and logbooks,
- Book appointments and reminders in calendars,
- Compile data for various reports and scorecards, internal and external,
- Facilitate meetings and audits.
- B.Sc. or college diploma in science, or equivalent;
- Minimum of 2 years of lab experience;
- Must work effectively in an environment where priorities change constantly with minimal supervision;
- Must establish rapidly a good relation with the management team;
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills in French - Intermediary English will do;
- Organizational skills in order to manage a multitude of diverse tasks over time and priorities;
- Good analytical and synthesis skills in order to participate in problem solving and continuous improvement
- Must be comfortable speaking in front of groups of people;
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook;
- Good knowledge and understanding of ISO/IEC 17025 and Quebec environmental accreditations is an asset;
- Being an internal auditor is an asset.
