Junior Estimator – Amico Corporation
Richmond Hill, ONResponsibilities:
As a Junior Estimator, the person will be responsible for the following duties:
- Prepare and update preliminary drawings and quotations in accordance with site codes and regulations.
- Estimate overall project costs based on architectural plans and specifications.
- Coordinate with the sales team to discuss technical aspects of projects.
- Request of quotation to purchasing team to get required pricing.
- Identify potential issues early and propose value engineered solutions to sales
- Background in Architecture or Engineering preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Blue-Beam and Onshape is an asset.
- Experience reading architectural plans and specification documents is a must.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in quantity take-offs and estimation.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel required.
