- Lead, support, and coordinate the activities of the hospital security team on assigned shifts.
- Act as a primary point of contact for security-related matters within the hospital.
- Monitor and enforce hospital security policies and procedures.
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance promptly and effectively.
- Support patient watch and behavioral health safety protocols as needed.
- Conduct regular patrols, inspections, and incident reporting.
- Liaise with hospital staff, management, and external emergency services when required.
- Train and mentor new security personnel and ensure ongoing adherence to protocols.
- Maintain accurate records, shift reports, and incident documentation.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a security role (healthcare or hospital setting preferred).
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity is a strong asset
- Be authorized to work in Canada
- Hold a valid security license
- First aid certification required
- Strong communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time and team resources effectively.
- Familiarity with hospital environments, emergency codes, and patient interaction protocols is preferred.
