
Chiller Mechanic

- Experience in on-demand service calls on commercial, industrial and institutional chiller equipment specializing in Chillers and Cooling Towers
- Able to perform planned maintenance on centrifugal, screw, reciprocating, and scroll compressors; with York, Daikin, Trane, Carrier, Smardt, Arctic Cool, Tandem, and Multistack chillers.
- Experience conducting or assisting overhauls on chillers, troubleshooting, and diagnosing repairs needed.
- Remains current with new technology and ability to adapt
- Read, interpret, create and maintain drawings and specifications.
- Install air conditioning, heating, and related equipment and components.
- Overhaul and service air conditioning, heating units and systems.
- Repair, replace and adjust worn or broken components on HVAC equipment
- Repair and adjust refrigeration valves, piping connections, fittings, and couplings.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with heating and air conditioning systems.
- Install motors, thermostats, humidistats and other HVAC components
- Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned apprentices.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all modern equipment and regulations.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental company policies and government legislation/regulations.

- Provide exceptional customer service
- 313A license & Gas 1 required
- 5-10 years experience in service and maintenance of chillers
- Manufacturer training is an asset
- Possess a valid "full G" Ontario driver's license with a clean driving record.
