Join the Agreement Management team in the Senior Manager, Operations Transformation and Strategic Change position. In this role, you will lead the team responsible for the review of Agreement Management’s operating model. You will provide strategic direction and input to define and establish the future state of the Agreement Management function, all the while ensuring alignment with overarching corporate direction and objectives and building desire and acceptance for change. You will also collaborate and consult with internal and external partners and provide leadership and support to implement CMHC’s mission, vision and goals.This is a temporary position until December 2025.What you’ll do:
  • Provide guidance and strategic advice to senior management for the planning and delivery of transformation projects, the development of policies, processes, guidelines and systems, and the implementation of operating model or process improvements.
  • Lead and manage the design and implementation of change initiatives, including new or revised strategies, activities, policies, procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to create efficiencies within business processes and oversee the design and implementation of those that support enhanced client relationships, improved products and reduced risks.
  • Build positive relationships and partnerships and identify key internal or external contacts for support and collaboration on projects with impacts outside of the business unit.
  • Provide advice, guidance and strategic recommendations to policy and senior management on politically sensitive matters.
  • Act as a catalyst for organizational change by building a shared vision with team members and colleagues, and influencing the translation of vision into action.
  • Align people, work and systems to achieve project or program results.
What you should have:
  • An undergraduate degree in a related field such as business, finance, commerce.
  • A minimum of ten years of relevant experience in project management and change management with a minimum of three years of supervisory experience.
  • Excellent people leadership skills.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills including the ability to influence, negotiate and present information in a professional manner.
  • Excellent relationship management skills, and demonstrated ability to foster trusting relationships with clients, internal, and external partners.
  • Bilingualism (French and English).
It would be great if you also had:
  • A project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or Change Management certification.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Applied knowledge of risk management.
