This lab fosters personal and professional growth, encouraging learning and team development in the digital intelligence era.About the job:Conduct cutting edge research within networking domain for large scale distributed systems or clusters in Data Centers in the cloud or on premProduce DCN related surveys and insights regarding technical dynamics and trends of both industry and academiaAssist in defining research thrusts for internal projects as well as potential cooperation with academiaLead certain research directions and propose technical solutions to assigned research thrustsDeliver committed results to meet the project goalsAbout the ideal candidate:Ph.D. degree in Networking, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or any related fieldsAny research or industry experience in one or more of the following fields:Network traffic control such as congestion control, load balancing, schedulingNetwork architecture related research such as topology, routing and flow controlNetwork Transportation Protocol design or optimization such as RoCE, etcNetwork function offloading to Network Interface Card (NIC) or to NetworkLarge Network simulation for data plane or control plane algorithm performance optimization such as throughput, latency or jitterExcellent Python/C/C++ programming skills as well as experience using network simulation tools such as NS3 and other similar toolsIn-depth understanding on how IP/Ethernet network works including both control plane and data planeKnowledge of AI/ML/LLM in general; in particular knowledge of popular LLMs such as OpenAI, LLaMa, DeepSeek, etc. Understanding how these models work, their communication patterns and characteristics is an assetExperience working with Network Interface Card (NIC)/DPU is an assetProof of successful project delivery historyStrong soft skills like curiosity, ability to learn quickly and adapt to fast changing research dynamics, excellent communication and presentation skills#LI-PB1
