Oversee and coordinate daily office operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with internal policies.
Prepare, review, and verify a variety of financial statements and related documentation.
Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring confidentiality and accessibility.
Prepare, proofread, and verify correspondence, reports, and official documents.
Manage office inventory, including procurement and distribution of supplies.
Coordinate and manage the distribution of inter-office mail and documentation.
Provide administrative support for special projects and departmental initiatives as required.
Apply sound judgment and discretion when handling exceptions to standard procedures.Administrative Clerk III Job Qualifications:Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an administrative or office management role, ideally in a government or public sector environment.
Proven leadership or supervisory experience.
Strong understanding of office administration, records management, and financial documentation.
High level of proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.Employment Details:Wages: $20.15 per hour
Schedule: 37 hours per week, 7 hours a day, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay: Weekly pay
Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia
