- In collaboration with the Pharmacy Manager, manage the pharmacy team's schedule to ensure coverage of all operating hour shifts.
- Monitor and maintain an efficient workflow in the pharmacy at all times including redirecting staff as required during daily operations to ensure highest levels of client service.
- Ensure the dispensary team delivers a high level of client service and effectively triages client needs.
- Manage quality processes in the pharmacy to ensure highest levels of dispensing accuracy, reporting near misses and incidents and taking remedial action on all events.
- Manage inventory management processes, including stock and supply levels to maintain efficient operations
- Assist in the implementation of pharmacy services and initiatives as part of the pharmacy care plan (e.g. central fill, pharmacy plus billings, influenza)
- Troubleshoot technical problems as they arise and contact support teams as required
- Collaborate with the Support Team to on-board and train new staff
- Support existing employees in learning and development by participating in performance development process, assigning training as required.
- Manage an efficient delivery process in collaboration with the driver team lead and assigned delivery driver(s)
- Problem solve and/or participate in internal and external conflict resolution as required
- Collaborate with Support Team members on a routine basis
- Assume shifts in the dispensary on a weekly basis
- Ensure dispensary operations are compliant to all applicable legislation, College of Pharmacy policies and company policies.
- Other duties will be assigned as required for business needs
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team and build relationships and rapport with internal and external relations
